Following the great success of St Columba’s inaugural event last year, this year’s Clay Works Potter’s Market and Community Day is even bigger and better!
Free event – fundraiser for St Columba Church.
Twilight Market: Friday 26 August, 2:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Friday 26 August
2:30 pm – 8:00 pm
The Twilight Market will be open before school pick-up on Friday, and into the evening… super handy if you are passing by on your way out.
Day Market
Saturday 27 August
9:00 am – 4:00 pm
The Day Market will be open after Saturday morning sport when your children can enjoy a sausage and have a go with some clay.
Pottery
The hall will be bursting with pottery from established and emerging Auckland potters. Many of these potters exhibit in galleries around New Zealand. This is an opportunity to see and purchase from a wide range of their pieces.
Others are emerging potters whose beautiful work is difficult to readily access. With only 4 months until Christmas, it’s a perfect opportunity to stock up on unique gifts at reasonable prices.
Stalls Galore
In the grounds will be stalls galore of Pacific food and craft, children’s activities, coffee, cakes and slices.
Art & Music
In the church, there will be art on display and for sale, and live music from a diverse range of local musicians throughout Saturday.
The organisers are posting images of the pottery and art works they’re expecting for the event on their Facebook Event page ยป
